Simply Pearls in Frome on the map!
Open on Friday 20th August
After lots of long days and evenings painting and furnishing the shop, its now complete!
The signage went up yesterday .. so here is the first picture. We are absolutely delighted with how it has turned out.
We opened our doors at 11am on Friday 20th August and have had a fantastic welcome and reactions from the Frome residents. Thank you for such a warm welcome!
If you know Frome in Somerset, then you'll have an idea of where King Street is, but if you are visiting for the first time it's always helpful to have a map!

We are at 25 King Street, BA11 1BA ..... and we'd love to see you!
If you would like to give us a call our telephone number in Frome is 01373 471250
Work has started on our new Frome shop!
First job, cleaning of course!
Well it didn't take long to get started, we were dying to get the paintbrushes out! The first job of course was to clean it all though - it had been empty for a couple of months so had gathered quite a layer of dust.
Work in progress although the painters were a little camera shy, but they did a fantastic job and it is looking great!
A little untidy maybe, but we'll soon have that sorted.
Whats next? The phone, the alarm and CCTV system and the bit that we're interested in ..... the furniture. There's quite a lot of it as you can imagine. Tall display cabinets and a small pond! Why a pond? Well thats another secret we're keeping until next week, but we are really excited about it!
Simply Pearls Comes to Frome in Somerset!
The new Simply Pearls Shop is in King Street, Frome.
At last, the legalities have been sorted, and we have taken a lease on a lovely little shop in the the Somerset town of Frome. While the building is a grade II listed building backing on to one of the oldest streets in Frome, the shop itself is very modern, perfect for our mix of modern and classical pearl jewellery.
This is what is currently looks like inside - we plan to give it a coat of paint but really thats all it needs - nothing like the major renovations that have taken place at the gorgeous Archangel Hotel and restaurant opposite! (We may have popped in for the odd glass of wine while checking out the area!)
Obviously it looks very stark and bare at the moment, as all rooms do when all of the furniture has been removed, but hopefully in a couple of weeks it will be warm and inviting - and it won't echo quite so much!
We'll post more pictures as we start painting later on this week.
